GET TO KNOW MATT EDWARDS

A Musical Beginning

Starting at the tender age of fifteen, Matt began his career playing piano at restaurants and bars in Louisiana. Upon graduating college, Matt worked as a sideman for Baton Rouge blues artists Elvin Killerbee and Chicago Al. After moving to the Vermont area Matt created the Rhythm and Blues band Buck2Fifty, performing many memorable gigs including shows for The Albany Food Fest and Lake George Riverboat Cruises, Now with the pandemic limiting performances, Matt is back to his first love, solo piano. He loves to win over audiences one patron at a time. Matt is known for playing blues, pop, and jazz standards and adding a little funk to create a sound that is uniquely his own. Add his soulful blue-eyed singing to his formidable piano work and you have the makings for a really great night of entertainment.
